SALT
Salt can be a witch’s best friend when performing magic and rituals.
Because of its ability to absorb energy and hold onto it, salt is used to cleanse and purify and area of negative energy, and create protection boundaries. Common salt, sea salt, and Himalayan pink salts are used often for protection purposes, but other salts are also created to be stronger than these base salts.

black salt
Black salt is to amplify protection. It is often put along windows and doors.
Made by mixing ash and eggshells into salt of your choice. I used table salt and pink salt.

Used in spells for love, passion, and confidence.
Made by mixing chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, egg shells, and rose petals into pink salt.

yellow salt
Yellow salt is similar to black salt in being used for protection, often from malicious forces.
Made by mixing cumin into salt, for that *kick*.
