GREEN WITCH?
I consider myself a "Green Witch." One of many types of "witch", like hedge witch or kitchen witch. Not a follower of Wicca or any religion, but a follower of Mother Earth. As a base, all Green Witches are aligned with plants, healing, natural energy, creativity, Mother Earth, and the Universe.
A Green Witch can be described as... "a naturalist, an herbalist, a wise woman, and a healer. She embraces the power of nature; she draws energy from the Earth and the Universe; she relies on natural objects like stones and gems to commune with the land she lives off of; she uses plants, flowers, oils, and herbs for healing; she calls on nature for guidance; and she respects every living being no matter how small."
Green witchcraft covers a broad spectrum: the way of the green witch is one filled with lots of ideas to bring you closer to Mother Earth. Green witches are keepers of secrets, finders of the path, and protectors of all things natural. These witches are similar to healing ancestors such as druids and shamans.
I personally have always had a very strong connection to nature; adoring animals and plants alike.
I'm happiest surrounded by nature, caring for animals, or tending to my garden.
I surround myself with plants indoors as well, and have accumulated my own Apothecary of various herbs and spices; some of which I grew, harvested, and dried entirely myself.

PRIESTESS?
Not something I expected to call myself, but here we are! This came about after my first reiki healing session, but more about that later... So what is a Priestess? What is her role? What does a Priestess do?
"A Priestess is here first and foremost to serve. She brings the formless into form through deep listening and communion with the divine. She is here to raise the collective consciousness and to contribute in her own unique way, becoming a frequency of divine love. She is here to anchor the frequency of the divine feminine, to restore balance on our planet and support ascension through with an energetic shift."
In modern times, “Priestess” is the title of a woman who has studied, trained, and gained experience as a type of spiritual leader, spreading the knowledge of the spiritual teachings she has learned and embodied. She teaches from her direct experience, and the journey itself of becoming a Priestess has shaped her and prepared her for this role. The Role of the Priestess is much more about BEING rather than DOING. Being a Priestess is something she has done in many lifetimes.
When we are tuned in, taking care of ourselves and deeply listening, we receive messages. These messages may come in meditation, or in yoga class, or on a run, or any other activity when we get out of our head and into our bodies. To be a Priestess is to be a conduit for the formless to come into form; she helps to become a channel for spirit guides, and to help others to tune in.
Think of Mary Magdalene and Yeshua (Jesus) and the healing work they did for people of all classes and backgrounds. When we open our eyes to the injustice in the world and educate ourselves we are able to take steps to create systemic change. The Priestess is here to empower women, and help those that may need it the most. Many people hide their problems and see them as faults; the Priestess is here to help you address these aspects of your life and move forward in the best manner possible. Forever learning and evolving; the Priestess tends to ask herself,
"How can I use my unique gifts and talents to implement change and restore balance to the world?"
